Fees
The notary’s remuneration is specified in the Ordinance of the Minister of Justice on the maximum rates of notarial fees applicable to a given activity. The notary’s remuneration is determined on a case-by-case basis.

In connection with the activities performed, the notary as a payer collects appropriate taxes. In situations where the content of the action includes an application for entry in the land and mortgage register, which is subject to a fee, the notary public will charge the applicants with a court fee.
If a party to a notarial act is not able to bear the remuneration demanded by the notary, without prejudice to the maintenance necessary for himself and his family, he may apply to the district court having jurisdiction over his place of residence for an exemption from paying this remuneration in whole or in part.
